I am a long time “gamer”. By that I mean I have been playing games with my family and friends for over 40+ years. Board games, card games and games of skill. It was only natural that when computers came out I would play a lot of those games on the PC.

From Monopoly and Scrabble to now World of Warcraft. I have been playing WOW (World Of Warcraft) online for about 3 years now. One of the interesting offshoots of the 13 million plus players is that they make videos concerning WOW. If you search diligently you may find some. I wanted to take the best of these, IMHO, and put them in one location. Voila .. the birth of WOWvid. We scoured the World Wide Web to find them so you don’t have to.

Here I hope to post what I consider some of the best in these videos. Now these will be in the Showcase category. They will be higher end videos that tell a story or are a parody of WOW. Some will be about WOW. One has to remember that these are made by taking excerpts from game playing and pasting together. Lots of work and tech goes into these. We have a good backlog to post up, but, if you know of any that should be included here, please use the Contact Us link at the top of this page to submit your links / ideas. Of course if you have made a “Showcase” video please send us an email regarding it for inclusion here.

The next category is Instructional. These videos are made to help you play the game or some portion of the game. If we find any good ones (and visibly good also) we shall post them in that category.

The Last category is Braggart. These are the ones we are not to keen on, but, will give you a section to posts yours if you wish. These videos feature some class running around (usually in poor quality) killing things or smashing things.

Final note. This game is rated adult and in fact no one under 18 is supposed to be pl aying it (yeah sure), so the language or content may be offensive to some. I hope you enjoy our selection and hope you contribute to this site. Anyone can view, post comments and vote. You do not need to register to do so.
